Impressive 1946 batting photograph of young Hall of Famer Stan Musial from the St. Louis Cardinals shortly after returning from the war. This is a silver gelatin high quality double weight photo that is reminiscent of the finest studio images! One of the best images of Musial ever taken, this one is also signed by Musial as well (vintage 1940's stamped signature)! There is some crazing and a few light creases at the top, but it presents better than the technical grade.
