1940 Large photograph of popular slugger Joe Medwick s he tries to accommodate a large group of fans, mostly ladies, all trying to get a piece of the superstar through his autograph. While scenes like this are common today, this was a rarity at the time as these fans are pushing to try and jockey for position.
