In the 60 year history of the Washington Senators, there were many more lows than highs. In fact, there were exactly three highs... but that just made the teams that did win that much more memorable. The Senators went to back to back World Series in 1924-25 (winning it all in 1924) and other than that the 1933 team was the lone pennant winner. With that much failure, you have to celebrate success when it comes. The offered silver gelatin team photograph captures that 1933 team in full uniform after clinching the pennant. Crystal clear, the photo is highlighted by the inclusion of Moe Berg on the upper left and it presents well from Underwood and Underwood and stamped on the back with a full paper caption as well. The photo has a light crease on the lower right but it presents beautifully.
