1931 Family portrait photograph of Ty Cobb and his wife and kids. Even without knowing of Cobb's temperament, the image looks forced and unnatural. Caption on the back explains that Mrs. Cobb was suing for divorce on the grounds of cruelty (not surprising). Rare photograph issued by a local Georgia photographer and with full paper caption on the back. It is hard to date the image but overall it presents well and appears to be a silver gelatin specimen from about the 1930's.
