Interesting and important photograph of the National League champion St. Louis Cardinals as they received a ticker-tape parade in the streets to celebrate their World Series victory over the Yankees. Photo shows the car carrying superstar Rogers Hornsby as it broke through the crows on an unknown street in downtown St. Louis with a huge Baer Stern banking sign in the background. The photograph is in decent shape with some wear to the corners from editorial use. From the archives of Underwood and Underwood and with full paper caption on the back, this is a nice piece of Cardinals history that is being offered here for the first time ever.
