Lot Description  

1924 Outstanding portrait photograph of Jimmy O'Connell from the New York Giants and dated from the World Series in which he would battle the Washington Senators and try to win the team's third World Series in four years. A tough player to find images of and this is his best we have ever seen. Issued by Wide World Photos and stamped on the back with a full paper caption as well.
