Attractive 1923 photograph of baseball star Heinie Groh showing off his bottle bat for the photographer in uniform. This is from the eve of the World Series against the Yankees and was issued by Underwood and Underwood with a bold stamp and large paper caption on the back. One of his best images that shows off his innovative bat that we have ever seen! The photo has some pinholes at the edges from editorial use but it looks really nice. One of his most famous photographs ever taken!
