Dickie Kerr is an interesting story as he was the squeaky clean 'feel good' story of the Black Sox Scandal, but then found himself in scandal a few years later by refusing his contract and playing outlaw baseball. This 1922 photograph pictures Kerr in uniform as it was announced he was applying for reinstatement into the big leagues. A cool image we have never seen before and from the archives of Underwood and Underwood and offered here for the first time ever!
