Incredible 1920's batting photograph of Eddie Collins from the Chicago White Sox as he held the follow through of his perfect swing and watched the ball sail into the outfield. Taken at the height of his career in uniform with the White Sox, this is the work of Charles Conlon and it bears his handwritten notes and signature on the back. Conlon has added a small note about his batting average in 1913 which is a cool touch as well. This is a rare double weight piece of photography by Conlon, something he dabbled with in the 1920's, and it grades almost perfect. easily among the greatest images of Collins that we have ever handled and it is an exceptional piece of baseball history!
