1904 Vintage portrait photograph of outfielder Charlie Chech (Identified as Jimmy Sebring) from the Cincinnati Reds and posing in uniform in the studio of Carl Horner. This was peeled from the original cabinet mount (extra paper still stuck to the back) and used in publication, but otherwise the image is spectacular. This is by far his greatest photograph we have ever seen offered for sale publicly with exceptional quality and clarity. Completely original in all respects and in great shape with note to the number 8 being added at the bottom from publication and his name written at the top, likely in the Spalding Guide. Baseball images by Horner are exceptionally rare and this is a work of art!
