1943 Vintage photograph of Yankee legend Babe Ruth as he appeared in the locker room in full uniform for the WWII War-Bond benefit game at the Polo Grounds. The photo is vintage and appears to have been developed in the 1940's, but has a later stamp from the 1950's on the back. We feel this is indeed a 1940's example based on the gelatin and paper used. There is some light creasing and handling wear, including a small rip at the upper left corner, but overall it looks pretty nice.
