In early 1985 rock star Madonna became one of the first of her kind to grace the cover of PEOPLE Magazine. The issue was one of the most iconic of the era and her cover shot helped launch her career into the next stratosphere. While this one is just a hint off from the image PEOPLE chose, it is the from the same photo shoot and is stamped by photographer Ken Regan on the back. This is one of the only images from this iconic photo shott we have ever seen and despite having a few light creases from editorial work, it presents beautifully.
