1951 Stunning batting photograph of Eddie Gaedel from the St. Louis Browns as he showed off his toy bat and was ready for his lone plate appearance in the major leagues. The photo is a large image that captures Gaedel like no other we have seen, from head to toe in uniform. This is the only example of this photograph we have ever seen in any form and while blank backed, it is clearly vintage with significant age and some light crazing to the surface from seven decades of wear. We are unsure how PSA will treat the photo because it is not stamped, but it is 100% original to the 1950's without any doubt and offered here for the first time ever, fresh out of a significant archive! All things considered, this is one of the finest baseball images we have offered in some time!
