1920 Artistic photograph detailing the pitching arm of Hall of Famer Walter Johnson in a formal studio sitting. One of the most breathtaking and beautiful images we have ever handled and dated on the back from NEA with a file date of June 24, 1920. An incredible piece of baseball art, this is the only known example of this photograph and it presents really well with note to a crease at the center from editorial use. Images of Walter Johnson are undervalued and this is one of his best out there.
