Original 1909 scrapbook page from the estate of Smoky Joe Wood and in great shape overall. The photo on the back shows Wood and three others in uniform and posing on a wagon, but the star of the show is on the other side which shows members of the Red Sox and Athletics posed together at Revere Beach for an 'outing' likely during a day off for the teams. Highlighted by Joe Wood and a young Tris Speaker, both pictured at the lower left, it also captures several other prominent major leaguers like Jake Stahl and Heinie Heitmuller. A great image with some of the identifications done by Smoky Joe Wood or his wife. Almost certainly unique and in great shape overall.
