Completely vintage 1912 panoramic photograph of the Boston Red Sox in uniform and posed at the ballpark during the season in which they would win the World Series. Led by Tris Speaker and Joe Wood, posed together on the left side, this was a powerhouse squad that would go down in history as one of the best of the era. Identified on the front as the work of famous Boston photographer Carl J. Horner, this is also a piece with exceptional provenance as this was Smoky Joe Wood's personal example and bears his scrapbook remnants on the reverse. We are not sure how PSA will treat this photograph but since this is the finishing product that the original photographer released (Horner) it fits within our rules for a Vintage 1 example regardless. One of only a handful of known examples, the smaller size also makes this look like a baseball card which is really cool!
