1921 Nice action photograph of Hall of Famer Hugh Jennings from the New York Giants in uniform shortly after being hired by his old friend John McGraw. Jennings was more than just a coach as McGraw had failing health and needed someone to fill in for him on a regular basis which Jennings did masterfully to a tune of a .697 winning percentage in the games he took the lead (much higher than McGraw's percentage in the same years). The photo harkens back to Jennings' days with the Detroit Tigers in which he did a dance called the "Eeh-Ya" up and down the basepaths. Stamped on the back and presenting with exceptional clarity, this presents well with a crease and small rip on the lower right corner.
