The player with the bat appears to be Babe Ruth based on his stance, stature, grip, and legs, but without better clarity it is likely impossible to be sure. This is from a collection of (9) photographs all from the 1915 World Series (Game 3 on October 11, 1915) so the date and teams are 100% accurate. There is scrapbook paper on the back, but the image quality is outstanding and this photo, along with the eight others, are all being offered here for the first time ever.
