1929 Photograph of the Watertown, Massachusetts home which would have a fire and take the life of Babe Ruth's wife Helen. Smoke stains can be seen above the windows and the paper caption notes the events. This is only the second image of the home we have seen and it is one of the central events that shaped the life of Babe Ruth. In fact, there are conspiracy theorists who believe Ruth was involved in the death as he was wanting a divorce and Helen refused demanding an extortion payment of $100,000; a month later she was dead! An important piece of baseball history and the life of the greatest player of all time, Babe Ruth. Issued by Wide World Photos and stamped on the back with a full paper caption as well.
