1927 Vintage head to toe photograph of sluggers Babe Ruth and Lou Gehrig of the famous "Murderers Row" Yankees in uniform. Taken in the middle of Ruth's famous season in which he would hit 60 home runs, this is from Wide World Photos and stamped on the back with a full paper caption as well. An incredible piece of photography that is encapsulated by PSA as a Type 1, the photo originally had Lou Gehrig as well but he was trimmed off by a newspaper artist years ago. One of the top images of Ruth that is concretely dated to 1927 that we have ever seen!
