1926-27 Important photograph of the New York Original Celtics basketball superstar Nat Holman in full uniform and posing with a ball. This is his greatest early image we have ever seen and the paper caption on the back notes that he and his team had just beaten the Chicago Bruins at the Broadway Armory in front of the largest crowd in professional basketball history. The photo is from the archives of Underwood and Underwood and will get a Type 1 from PSA for sure. Offered here for the first time ever, this is worthy of a spot in the basketball Hall of Fame or even the most advanced collection in the world! The photo has a chip off the upper left corner but otherwise it presents really well. This might be the greatest image of Holman ever offered!
