1909 Beautiful and artistic photograph of Harry Ables from the Cleveland Indians as he shows off his crazy grip he used to throw his "Spinning Ball." This is essentially a circle change-up by todays lingo, but the grip is something we have never seen from this time period. The photo has been artfully die-cut but a publisher at a newspaper almost 115 years ago and it bears the stamp on the reverse of famous photographic studio Burke and Atwell. The clarity is exceptional and this is being offered here for the first time ever.
