1926 Vintage photograph of Babe Ruth, Miller Huggins, and Jacob Ruppert as they pose with a man in street clothes who had apparently just struck out Babe Ruth as a publicity stunt during spring training. Ruth was questioning whether the man was throwing illegal pitches, but the smiles all around clearly indicate this was a staged event. A great image of Ruth and his bosses, the photo presents well with a long handwritten note on the back about the event and a date stamp from the Central Press. Encapsulated by PSA as a Type 1 and offered here for the first time ever.
