Large 1929 photograph from the start of the World Series between the Cubs and the Athletics that features a rare photo opportunity of the two biggest sluggers in the game. Hack Wilson of the Cubs was in the game and was in the middle of a string of four home run titles in five years in the National League. The man who was in attendance that day and was ushered down for the photo with Wilson was none other than Babe Ruth of the Yankees. One of the few images of the two sluggers together, this was issued by Acme and stamped on the back with a full paper caption as well. An important image of two of the best sluggers in baseball history together.
