Incredible 1927 famous photograph at the ballpark of Babe Ruth and Lou Gehrig as they pose in their iconic "Bustin' Babes" and "Larrupin' Lous" uniforms. One of the most well known shots of the duo ever taken, this is a completely vintage 1927 example made on double weight paper and stamped on the back from the tour, but the autographs were embedded into the image for fans so that the duo would not have to sign so many photos day after day. These images were actually sold on the barnstorming tour which would make them absolutely vintage baseball cards as well! Despite wear and pinholes, the image presents really well and this is a tremendous value considering what original photographs and baseball cards of these guys are selling for now. This is the only stamped example we have ever seen and it comes directly from the grandson of the man who acquired this on the tour when he saw Ruth and Gehrig play!
