Extremely rare c. 1915 photograph of perhaps the most infamous man of his time, Grigori Rasputin of Russia. He was a mystic and holy man who found favor with the Czar and his family, worming his way into influence and essentially controlling the entire country. From the archives of Underwood and Underwood and stamped on the back, this is the only vintage image of Rasputin we have ever seen and it is being offered here for the first time ever. The photo has a few light pinholes from editorial use, but otherwise it presents really well.
