Lot Description  

1929 Large photograph of legendary pianist and composer, George Gershwin, as he entertained a crowd by performing his famous "Rhapsody in Blue" for adoring fans. While we have sold images of Gershwin in the past, we have never seen one where he is performing his most famous song! Issued by Wide World Photos and stamped on the back with a full paper caption as well, this is a true piece of music history!
