c. 1933 Vintage photograph of young Joe DiMaggio from the San Francisco Seals and posed at the ballpark in uniform with a pair of his bats. The photo is completely original to the mid 1930's and has a later added paper caption on the back with a 1937 date when it was re-used, indicating the image was taken well before this date. The photo has taken at a slight distance to create an aerial feel, so there is a touch of clarity loss as well as some editorial painting and a few lines of tracing from publication, but it looks great overall. One of the only original images of DiMaggio with the Seals that we have ever seen and it is being offered here for the first time ever!
