1949 Beautiful photograph of Jackie Robinson as he takes a swing at the ballpark for a photographer. Ebbets Field serves as the perfect backdrop and Jackie holds his follow through to create a statuesque masterpiece of baseball photography from the beginning of his career, taken about his third season. The photo is in great shape and comes with a stamp from Acme which has been obscured by secondary stamps from the Culver archives. Encapsulated by PSA as a Type 1, this is one of his best batting photographs we have ever seen.
