1913 Important and visually incredible photograph of the Goldsmith's All Nations team in full uniform and posed in front of a tarp before a game. Included in the photo are Hall of Famer Jose Mendez and future Hall of Famer John Donaldson among others. One of the more famous teams of the era, the photo was used to make a postcard which routinely sells for between $15,000-$20,000 with this being the only vintage example we have ever seen of the photograph. Mounted as issued and trimmed slightly at the top and bottom, the photo portion is essentially perfect with exceptional clarity. Both visually and historically, this is one of the most important items relating to early Negro League Hall of Famers that we have ever handled!
