Incredible 1962 dated full color photograph of young Lou Brock from the Chicago Cubs and posing in front of the ivy at Wrigley Field. Developed at the same time his rookie card hit the shelves, his photography from 1962 is EXTREMELY rare as racism was still alive and well at this time and he was not yet a proven star. The photo is also an extreme rarity as color photography was in its infancy and was a delicate and expensive process. There is some handling wear and a few spots where the layers of color photography made a few slight stains, but the image is strong and bold. Stamped on the back by photographer Barney Sterling and offered here for the first time ever!
