1951 Iconic portrait photograph of Hall of Famer Jackie Robinson, posing in uniform at the ballpark for team photographer Barney Stein. This is one of his greatest images ever taken and it was used to make one of his most famous baseball cards, the 1953 Topps card that was the #1 card of the set. Encapsulated by PSA as a Type 1, this is one of only about 10-15 of examples to be certified at this level. In the last 2-3 years these have really taken off in popularity with this being a newly graded example that presents well and is being offered here for the first time ever. This example has the important stamp from the Dodgers on the back and while it has some creasing to the upper left corner, it presents well with exceptional clarity. One of the most famous photographs ever taken in baseball history!
