1926 Large photograph of Clark Griffith, the owner of the American League champion Washington Senators, along with his manager Bucky Harris, as they raised the pennant flag over Griffith Park. While the Senators lost the World Series to the Pirates, it was still a glorious achievement for the normally hapless Senators. This is a fantastic image with exceptional clarity that is the only example we have ever seen. Issued by Wide World Photos and stamped on the back with a full paper caption as well, the photo presents really well with note to a few light pinholes and a couple creases on the top corners.
