1910 Large photograph of baseball superstar Ty Cobb as he appeared with Heavyweight Champion of the World, James J. Corbett, behind the wheel of his new car and posing outside the dealership! A bold and clean image from the height of Cobb's career, the photo is completely original and stamped on the back by the photographer (N. Lazarnick of Detroit) and represents the only example we know of in the world. Since this photo is the finished product from the original photographer, we classify this as a Vintage 1 but it is highly likely that PSA will call it a Type 3 (vintage c. 1910 photo of a photo) but regardless, this is original to 1910 and looks great despite the edge chipping and damage from age and editorial use.
