Original US Navy photograph of Admiral Chester Nimitz as he stands and watches delegates sign the surrender documents for Japan ending WWII in the pacific aboard the USS Missouri. Original photo taken on September 2, 1945 and this is a completely vintage example with the important government purple text on the back. The photo has one small chip off the top border but is otherwise essentially perfect. This is an angle we have never seen before that captures the entire Japanese delegation.
