Original c. 1914 portrait style photograph of the best dressed man in baseball, Bill Rariden of the New York Giants. One of the better known catchers of the deadball era, Rariden was a star before coming over to the Cincinnati Reds in 1919, but as a member of that team he cemented his place in baseball history forever. The photo is likely a bit earlier than the 1916 file date on the back, but the reverse has been partially obscured by some extra paper from a news room artist over 100 years ago. Images of Rariden are tough to find and this is one of the best out there.
