Powerful 1948 photograph of Babe Ruth from the New York Yankees as he leans on his bat for strength and addresses his fans at Yankee Stadium for one last time. The alternative angle shot of this moment, showing Ruth from behind, is one of the most famous is sports history, but this version showing Ruth from the front, is fantastic and represents the only example we have ever seen. While blank backed, the photo paper appears to be completely vintage to the late 1940's or early 1950's and fits well within our range for a Vintage 1. Condition and quality are both outstanding, grading a perfect 10/10. NOTE, due to the blank back, we are not sure how PSA will handle their two year window with this photograph, please keep this in mind when bidding. The photo does not glow under a black light and the paper appears consistent to the age of the print.
