Huge c. 1920 photograph of Babe Ruth from the Yankees as he watches a homer sail into the seats. Taken during batting practice and from early in his career, this is a famous image we have seen many times before, but not like this. The piece measures a large 14 inches tall in totality, with the photo of Ruth taking up almost all of that. It has been artfully die-cut and glued to thick board for publication in a newspaper and paint has been added to create a unique piece of baseball photographic history. There is some handling wear to the board and a crease at the top which barely goes through Ruth's bat, otherwise the photographic portion is perfect. A wonderful piece of Ruth imagery that is sure to be an awe inspiring display in even the most advanced collection!
