1927-28 Stunning portrait photo of New York Yankees youngster Leo Durocher in full uniform. One of the earliest and best images of Durocher we have ever seen and it is from photographer Charles Conlon. While this image was issued through Underwood and Underwood and is not identified as Conlon's work, he had a relationship with Underwood at this time and this is absolutely his print issued through U&U. This is a museum quality image from one of the games greatest personalities and in great shape. For reference, we sold a Conlon signed example of this photo in September 2020 (Lot #85) and this can be viewed in our site history to show this is a Conlon photograph.
