Lot Description  

1910 Large portrait photograph of deadball era shortstop Arnold Hauser in uniform with the St. Louis Cardinals. Taken by photographer Charles Conlon and with his handwritten notes on the back, this is a clear and bold work from the pinnacle of Conlon's career. The full sized, pre-WWI images by Charles Conlon are undervalued in the hobby and this one is great!
