Famous image of Dazzy Vance with the Brooklyn Dodgers. Despite being 33 years old Vance was actually at the beginning of his Hall of Fame career in 1924 as he was certainly what one would consider a "late bloomer". Vance began in organized baseball in 1912 but prior to the 1922 season he had a career record of 0-6 in a mere 63.2 innings pitched. Somehow even with that late start he was able to finish his career with a 197-140 record and a respectable 3.24 ERA. Original Underwood and Underwood photograph in great shape with a stamp and full paper caption on the back as well. A bold image that grades a perfect 10/10!
