Beautiful 1919 batting photograph of Edd Roush in uniform with the World Champion Reds. Issued by Underwood and Underwood and stamped on the back, this is a crystal clear work of baseball photography. Note, most images like that were issued in a two or three part composite were "photos of photos" but Underwood and Underwood developed trays in the 1910's that allowed for negatives to be placed side by side and create composite style images with each section of the photo being a Type 1 image off the original negative. This is an example of this technology as this photograph was clearly cut from a two part composite but the resulting section is a Type 1 image!
