Beautiful 1920 dated photograph of brand new New York Yankees star, Babe Ruth in uniform. Looking slender and young, this was taken just a few months after being traded from the Red Sox and he still looks like a pitcher in this photo with a trim physique. Posed in uniform, probably during spring training, and sitting on his bat, this is an original from Underwood and Underwood and stamped on the back. One of the finest 1920 dated Ruth images we have ever handled, this has a crease and some pinholes from editorial use but these are hard to see through the PSA slab. Photo comes encapsulated by PSA and is set to be the centerpiece of even the finest collection! Offered here for the first time ever fresh out of a New York newspaper archive!
