Among the rarest of Babe Ruth photos are those of him from his final season with the Boston Braves. Once the novelty wore off, photographers and sportswriters moved on to the newest and freshest stories in Baseball and Ruth was yesterday's news. As such, quality images of "The Babe" such as the offered item are comparatively scarce! Bold and clean, this is a fantastic image of Ruth that we have never seen before. Photo has a slight crease on the left side but it otherwise is perfect. It is hard to date the age of this print but we feel it is a 1950's example but still well within the range for a "Vintage 3."
