Beautiful 1933 photograph of sluggers Babe Ruth and Jimmie Foxx, the two most feared home run hitters in the American League, as they met at the ballpark for a handshake and quick photo. Crystal clear and bold, this has the look and feel of an original but it is a slightly later restrike from about 1940-41 based on the International News stamp on the back putting it just outside our window for a vintage 1 example. A tremendous value as it is the only example of this image we have ever seen that dates to Ruth's lifetime!
