Incredibly rare and important 1917 photograph of young Harry Heilmann of the Detroit Tigers in uniform and posing in the outfield from early in his career. This is the photo used to make his E 135 rookie card as well as his American Caramel images etc. His greatest and most important baseball card image we have ever handled, this is encapsulated by PSA as a Type 3 (period piece but off a duplicate negative) and from photographer George Grantham Bain. An important piece of baseball card history!
