Large 1917 photograph from before the start of the baseball season as controversial Red Sox owner Harry Frazee, as he signs his next manager to succeed Bill Carrigan. Posed along with Jack Barry (the new manager) and also secretary V.J. Ward, Frazee appears to be looking right into your soul, symbolic of his devious feat a few years later when he sold Babe Ruth to the Yankees! One of the only images of Frazee in his role as a baseball owner that we have ever seen and it presents well, dated on the back and stamped by Underwood and Underwood.
