1924 Portrait photograph of young Lewis "Hack" Wilson of the New York Giants, taken during his first full season in the major leagues, and looking like a major leaguer for the first time. He would show flashes of things to come as he put together a decent season, but nobody could have imagined the monster years he would pile up in a few short years. The offered portrait image was done at the World Series by the International News and with a full paper caption on the back. One of his greatest early images ever taken and this is the only example we have ever handled.
