1914 Famous photograph of magician Harry Houdini as he was locked into a wooden box and lowered into the New York harbor in front of a sea of spectators. This was his latest escape act that helped make him one of the most famous men in entertainment history. The photo is a crystal clear example off the original negative but is a re-strike from the early 1960's. Condition and quality are both perfect.
