1947 Rare photograph of Sugar Ray Robinson as he was questioned following the Jimmy Doyle boxing match. Doyle would fall in the eighth round and eventually die from his beating, making this one of the most tragic boxing matches of all time. Issued by the International News and stamped on the back with a full paper caption. One of the only images from this tragic and important fight we have ever seen, especially showing a grief stricken Robinson as he answered questions and was possibly even being charged in the death!
